2018年5月25日Week 18 UKPLUS NEWS!
今週もとっても忙しい週でした。
講師全員が通常の時間よりさらに多く授業をうけもっています。生徒数も2016年や2017年と同様の数に達しそうです。さらに今週のレベルチェックはなんと13件！新記録です。
Another busy week in the UKPLUS Osaka School with all teachers on full hours plus overtime. Student numbers are almost back up to the highs (numbers) of 2016 and 2017.

OETの試験業務の変更
先日のブログでふれた医療英語試験ＯＥＴの試験業務が7月から大きく変わります。
OET admin changes coming in July
皆さん既にご存知のようにUKPLUS Osakaは日本で唯一の医療英語試験OETの試験会場です。先週末も試験が滞りなく行われました。6/16に行われる試験が従来の試験運営システムが使われる最後の試験になります。7月からMyOETという新しいシステムが導入されます。現在UKPLUS もそちらに向けて準備中です。
ここちらの導入により現在も試験当日の受付手続きが簡単になり、時間も短縮されます。また年内にOETの試験の内容が変更となりますが、それは夏以降となります。
As you know, UKPLUS Osaka is the only OET centre in Japan and on Saturday the OET exam date ran smoothly again. We are now looking forward to the June 16th exam date which will be the final one using the current system. In July, administration of the exam will change with the introduction of the myOET system which UKPLUS Osaka are now preparing for. This will make the admin of the test day much simpler and less time consuming. Later in the year, the exam format itself will change, but more of that in the summer.

6月24日にインターナショナルソーシャルイベントを開催！
June 24th – International Social Event
来月ロシアでついに始まる2018年サッカー・ワールドカップ！6月24日(日)にはイギリスがパナマと対戦します。様々な国や地域が交わるこのイベントを記念してUKPLUS Osakaでイベントを開催します。当日午後はスクールにて楽しいイベントを開催し、その後スクール近くのレストランで夕食を食べた後午後9時からスクールの大きなスクリーンで一緒に応援しましょう! ワールドカップ参加国出身の方が出来るだけ沢山参加される事を期待しています。時間など詳しい情報は来週お伝えします。
On June 24th, England play Panama in their second match of the tournament in the Russia Football World Cup. To celebrate, this multi-international sporting event, UKPLUS Osaka will be holding a special fun event in the school during the afternoon, followed by dinner in a local restaurant and then back to the school to watch the match live on our big screen from 9pm. We are hoping to attract students from as many of the participating countries as possible. We will have an update for you next week with more information on times etc.

Summer Season
UKPLUSは毎年行っているサマーシーズンキャンペーンを今年も7月の始めから開始します。General Englishのグループレッスンを受けられている生徒様は夏の暑い12週間の時期の出席日数によって次回のレッスン登録の際に無料のレッスン1－3回がついてきます。こちらのキャンペーンについての情報はもうしばらくお待ち下さい。
UKPLUS Osaka will be launching its annual summer campaign at the beginning of July. Students in gro
up lessons will be rewarded for their attendance throughout the 12 weeks of the hot summer with free lessons in the autumn. Again, we’ll have more news of that very soon.
