2016年1月15日Lots of students often say that they do not have enough opportunities to speak English.
But lots of students come to lessons early and speak Japanese for 20 – 30 minutes with their classmates waiting for the lesson to begin.
Why not speak to your classmate(s) in English before the lesson begins?
Some of our UKPLUS students decided to start informal speaking groups and started coming to class early especially to speak to their classmates in English.
They don’t worry so much about making mistakes, they just try and communicate about every day things for 20 – 30 minutes before the lesson starts.
Then, once the lesson starts they are more ready for the activities their teacher has planned.
Easy solution!
